The one-line pitch: the build-crafting of a bullet heaven roguelite, fused with the engineering and power fantasy of a space-combat sim.
Set in a galaxy being consumed by an infection: a living-metal swarm of nanobots that strips everything it touches, consuming even the stars. You pilot a unqiue modular warship, built to absorb and recycle the nanites, through infected space. Every run is a fight to keep your hull intact long enough to evolve it into something powerful enough to defeat the swarm.

Flight is semi-Newtonian. Your ship carries weight and drift.
Ship evolution is the spine of the game. Start nimble in a Frigate, then evolve up through Destroyer to Cruiser, trading raw speed and agility for firepower and staying power as you go. The fantasy is watching a fast, fragile interceptor become a slow, devastating capital ship over the course of a run, and learning to fly each weight class on its own terms.
The core loop:
Fly: Momentum-based piloting across open levels
Fight: Escalating physics-driven dogfights
Collect: Harvest Nanites from the swarm
Refit: Buy software modules, bolt new systems onto your vessel, and evolve
